My Philosophy
My approach incorporates principles of Buddhism, loving kindness, and psychosomatic awareness to help you achieve a deeper understanding of yourself and your experiences.
In the psychodynamic psychotherapy approach, it is believed that whatever emerges to the surface holds the potential to facilitate self-healing. We can work together to realize what behaviour and patterns no longer serve you.
I believe strongly in people's capacity and potential for change. Having experienced periods of feeling lost, I understand how psychosomatic symptoms can be essential signals from the body.
Working with Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), I have learned that trauma can be overcome, and with consistent practice, we can learn to live and feel better. Education is an essential part of psychotherapy.
Buddhism has taught me how to cultivate love and compassion for my clients, helping to reduce their suffering.
Peer mentoring has shown me the vital importance of authenticity in therapeutic sessions, fostering genuine connection and trust. Especially when working with marginilised groups and minorities.
