Individual Therapy

Therapy can be a powerful way to better understand yourself, your feelings, and the challenges you face. My approach combines several helpful teachings from both psychology and mindfulness to support you throughout this journey.

My Therapy Style

In psychodynamic therapy, we often explore hidden feelings or thoughts that may lie beneath your awareness. I help you understand these automated patterns learned in the past, and through acceptance, we let go of those that no longer serve you. Bringing the unconscious into the open can help you heal and grow as a person.

I also use tools from Dialectical Behavior Therapy, or DBT for short. DBT offers practical skills to manage difficult emotions, cope with stress, and heal from past trauma. It teaches us that no matter how tough things get, change is always possible through practice and kindness toward ourselves. So we can learn together how our complex bodies work.

Personal Approach

I personally work with teachings from Buddhism and the practice of loving kindness and compassion, which help us develop compassion—not only for others but also for ourselves. This compassion can ease emotional pain and allow healing to happen naturally.

Having personally experienced times of feeling lost and overwhelmed, I know how important it is to have a safe and caring space where you can be yourself without judgment. I value authenticity in therapy, meaning I will always be genuine with you because trust and real connection support healing.

Mind-body Therapy

One important part of therapy is paying attention to what your body tells you. Sometimes when we are struggling emotionally, our bodies show signs like tension, pain, or other physical symptoms. This is called psychosomatic awareness, and it helps us listen to our body's messages so we can better understand our emotions and experiences.

Sometimes, physical pain is rooted in emotional struggles. By exploring these connections together in therapy, we can identify underlying causes and work toward reducing your overall distress and suffering.
